Influenza, commonly known as the flu, contributes to symptoms like a high fever, sore throat, runny nose, and feeling tired. Although these symptoms typically only last a week, these symptoms can make even a healthy person seriously ill. The flu shot serves as a vaccine to protect you and your loved ones from getting influenza.
FABOH is offering flu shot reimbursement for all FABOH member employers. Annually, employers incur an estimated $11.2 billion in direct and indirect costs related to the flu. To get reimbursement, member employers must document the number of flu shots that are provided between September 2026 – May 2027 and share this number with FABOH. As a result, FABOH will provide a $25 reimbursement for each flu shot documented to the member employer to offset the costs. The last day to submit for reimbursement is 6/30/27.
